Hi guys,
I have a question.
I have a figure with four subfigures, which have to be on two pages. Each of them has to have subcaption ((a) blabla, ...). And they have to have together just one caption.
I already use usepackage{subfigure} so i cannot use usepackage{subcaption}
Any ideas?

subfigures through multiple pages - subfloat problem
More info:
i try to use this command
The problem is with the subcaption. Instead of form (a)1 and so on. It just writes next to the figure [][1] and so on.
Any ideas?
i try to use this command
Code: Select all
Code, edit and compile here:
\usepackage{subfigure}\usepackage{float}\begin{figure}[H]\centering\subfloat[][1]{\includegraphics[width=0.45\textwidth]{1.png}}\quad\subfloat[][2]{\includegraphics[width=0.45\textwidth]{2.png}}\end{figure}\begin{figure}[H]\ContinuedFloat\centering\subfloat[][3]{\includegraphics[width=0.45\textwidth]{3.png}}\quad\subfloat[][4]{\includegraphics[width=0.45\textwidth]{4.png}}\caption{Four figures}\end{figure}

Hi and welcome,
can you extend your code snippet to make it compilable? Package mwe is very helpful for this and it saves us time trying to reproduce what you are describing with words.
On the other hand, and i think you don't want to hear this, package subfigure is obsolet for ten years and has been replaced by package subfig. But subfig as well has trouble with hyperref, so subcaption would be the road to take.

The smart way: Calm down and take a deep breath, read posts and provided links attentively, try to understand and ask if necessary.
