Why, hullo there!

Hello all,

My name is Cornelis Krottje (Cees for my fellow Dutch), I have been working with LaTeX for some 10+ years now and have even typeset a few publications using some LaTeX magic. I have, however, switched from MiKTeX to TeXlive recently after I put a Linux OS on my laptop. Quite the challence to get everything to work properly! I hope this forum will be able to help me in some of my TeX-related endeavours!

Hi Cornelis,

welcome to the forum!

Very good decision, to switch to Linux and TeX Live. TeX Live is very capable and with Linux you have even more useful tools for LaTeX related work. And whenever you need to work with Windows, TeX Live runs there as well.
