Text Formatting ⇒ Weird line spacing in the thesis List of Tables

The thesis template by my school generates the list of tables. However, the line spacing is not consistent in the table, see the attached screenshot. Any ideas how to fix it?

This seems to be deliberate: a larger spacing between sections than between subsection to have a visual guide which entries belong together. Anyway, without the class file there is nothing to suggest as we can't know, how the ToC is created.
