General ⇒ Creating a resumé enviroment

Dear friends

I would like to request a little help from the experts on this board. I am currently in the middle of finishing off a thesis. In this regard I want to include a resumé which is located before the beginning of the list of content. Much like how the acknowledgements works. I already have an abstract(included in latex) and an acknowldgements (created in costum enviroment, found guide on the internet) section in the document. What I would like is have the resume show up after these two sections and before the list of content. I am still rather new to latex and have unsucessfully tried to create my own enviroment to do this.

Consequently, i seem to be stuck and wonder if any of you out there migth have some advice on how i can create a resué section.

Welcome to the LaTeX community!

Could you please provide us with a minimal working example (that is a compilable but completely stripped document) including only the necessary stuff like the abstract, your custom acknowledgements environment… so we can see how you're acknowledgement environment is defined? Otherwise we can not know what exactly you have in mind and hence can not help you.

The currvita package offers the cv environment which can be incorporated in every document.
