LyX ⇒ Problem with Spell Checker

Hi all,
I have some issues with the installation of the spell checker.
aspell is installed on my computer but when I press F7, I got the following message "Le processus de correction orthographique a été interrompu. Il a peut-être été tué."
In English it should be something like " Spell checking process has been stopped. It might be killed."

Information
Aspell is selected in the option as the spell checker to use.
I use the version 1.6.10 of Lyx.

Hi Dext,

if you bump up a topic by posting again, it would be a good opportunity for adding some information, such as the operating system you are using, Windows or Linux or a Mac. LyX runs on all of those.

Btw. the most recent version of LyX is 2.0.3. Perhaps simply upgrade first instead of dealing with problems of an older version.

I agree with you, but I am in a company and I do not install my own program. So before to ask for an upgrade of LyX version, I wanted to know if there was another way of doing. If it was for my own computer, I would have upgraded LyX as the first action.

Moreover, I use CentOS6.

Today I am bumping this topic but not for free.

Indeed, I asked the administrator of my computer to upgrade lyx but the last version available for CentOS6 is 1.6.10, which is the version I have.

So I guess there will be someone to try to solve my problem now?

To sum up, I work on CentOS 6 with lyx 1.6.10
