paralist | Horizontal Spacing

How can you use horizontal spacing for labels & items using paralist package? It doesn't exclusively say if it can be used.

I think Section 7 of the paralist manual is very clear in this regard. The length \plitemsep is probably what you need.

Just one more question: I get errors whenever I load paralist and enumitem packages simultaneously. I really want to use both because I am typing a document which requires some environments from both packages to type my manual ideally. How/If it is possible to use some environments from both packages?

The current version of enumitem also provides lists formatted as a paragraph. And they are customizable, too. So I see no reason to use both packages.
