Hi,
I'm real new to latex and am already in over my head!
I'm using R, Sweave and Lyx to complicate things.
My first question is a doozie (I think).
I am making a auto generated monthly report with a bunch of R plots. I've gotten Sweave working but... month to month the title and type of plots will vary. Is there a way (using a for loop?) to dynamically assign the section/subsection headings based on the plots that I will generate? Say if I have R return a vector of plot titles to be used as section names?
Sorry I didn't give any reproducible code... but I haven't the foggiest as to where I would start!
Thanks for your help,
Justin

Brand spanking new to LaTeX/LyX
Tough generally possible, doing such things inside LaTeX will almost certainly not be the first and also not the second way to go. My advise would be not to use LyX but write you a little script that produces the *.tex file.

I'm using pdfTeX, Version 3.1415926-1.40.10 (TeX Live 2009/Debian).
