When listing your own work on a CV or resume, you don't want the citation to include the author. How can I get a BiBTeX style to generate a citation without the author?
I see that I can edit the .bbl file and remove the author, but it would be nice to have it happen automagically.
I'd rather not learn how to write my own BiBTeX style -- rumor has it that it's a beast!

Omit Author in Citation
So leaving the author field empty in your *.bib file does not do what you want?
I'm using pdfTeX, Version 3.1415926-1.40.10 (TeX Live 2009/Debian).

Re: Omit Author in Citation
Generally I want to keep the author in the .bib record, since I may want to cite it in a article or commentary or whatever. It's just for this one special sort of document that I don't want the author to appear.
