Hello.

Post by stevebrown »

Hello everyone,

Quick note to say hello, I have just started using this and really enjoying it. Rather frustrating at times but solving the problem is kinda fun.

I am amazed how much time I have spent working on word and fighting the formatting, and winning, but having no idea how victory was mine.

With LaTex, it is a fight at first, but at least you know how and why you win..no mystery, just that you told it to do the wrong thing.

Take care all,

Steve

Hi Steve,

welcome to the board!

You said a good point about LaTeX. There's indeed no mystery, as it's open source.

Software applications with mysteries keep the productivity level low. Seems that you now you've got something you can work with.
