Hi all.

I'm trying to write an equation with a limit, however i do not want it to be the normal way:

\begin{align}\label{eq:limit}
	\lim_{\gamma \to 0} \dfrac{1}{\gamma}
\end{align}

I do NOT want the normal arrow "->", instead i want an arrow that points downward. How is that possible?

Hi Alex,

you can use \downarrow:

\begin{align}\label{eq:limit}
   \lim_{\gamma \downarrow 0} \dfrac{1}{\gamma}
\end{align}
