Graphics, Figures & Tables ⇒ eps figure into latex doc

Hi,
I have been using using eps figures in my latex documents without any problems in my PC so far, however I recently began to use a newer version of miktex in my laptop and I began to have problems with eps figures, the same files work smoothly in my Pc, but do not in the laptop.
I convert ps into eps, I can see the bounding box numbers at the top in the eps files, i open the eps fig with gsview and the figure is already bounded and looks fine, but when I tex the file, I always see a big space at the top and the sides of the eps fig in the document. the bottom is Ok. I spent three days reading different forums, but I couldnt fix it.

I really appreciate any help to resolve this issue.

How about trying the epstopdf package? I've never encountered this problem, but I've always used this package.
