BibTex translator entry

Post by leviathan-ley »

Hello,

I am pretty new to LaTeX and I was wondering if there is any way to make enter a translator into BibTeX so it reads trans. or something like that. I have quite a few books that are translated and it would be nice to enter this date into the database.

Thank You in advance

Cheers
'Ley

Not sure I understand what you are asking...are you saying that you would like to include in a citation the date of publication's translation? If so, I suggest using the NOTE or HOWPUBLISHED field in the database entry.

Hope that helps!
