Troubles with Texnic Center

Post by Nestotor »

Hi everyone!

I've been installing MikTex, Texnic Center and Sumatra on my new machine (equipped with Windows 7) and I have some troubles. First, when I try to compile my Latex document, the pdf file is created in Sumatra but I have a message that appears saying that the source file that I'm compiling cannot be found. When I modify some text in my Latex document, the modification is not applied in the pdf document. Finally, the inverse search does not work anymore, and sometimes, I have an error message telling me that the DDE command for the inverse search cannot be executed. I am pretty sure the problem does not come from my document or that I haven't missed a step in the installation process since I've done this kind of procedure 3 or 4 times on different computers and I never had any problems.
Is the use of Windows 7 changing something compared to XP?
If anyone could help me it would be great!!!
Thanks,
N.
