Hello,
I am using Texmaker with latex for creation of my document. I need to insert some screenshot from my programm, so I need high quality for images. My LaTeX is not able to include graphics from formats like PNG or JPEG.
Could you please advise me, how to covert PNG to EPS with higher quality ?

PNG to EPS conversion
I wonder what keeps you from compiling directly with pdflatex. It would allow you to insert images in the formats JPG and PNG. Existing EPS images (native, not converted) can be converted to PDF.

Hi, use photoshop. set width to 7 cm, resolution to 166 pts. save to photoshop eps with ascii format.
You can also tailor the graph by sharpening and other functions.

Or if you don't have tons of money to spend on overpriced software, you could use the GIMP, which converts from PNG/JPG (or other formats) to EPS (or other formats) very well, and is completely free and open source.
But Thorsten's point is a good one. Why not use pdflatex?
