Separate groups of bibliography

Hi,

I am looking for best way to separate my bibliography into groups. In text, I have quotation in different field of science.

In result I would like to have:

Medicine
[1] ...
[2] ....

Mathematics
[1] ....
[2] .....

Computer Science
[1] ....
[2] ....

It doesn't make any sense to have the same bibliography item number twice or more in a document. It would cause confusion on the reader's side. But an appropriate output with continuous numbering can be achieved with the bibtopic package.
