Hello,
I just knew about TeXworks, and seems that it can be used on Linux too. But I found the README in the tarball isn't helping much. Anybody did use TeXworks in the Ubuntu.. I'm using Ubuntu 9.04.

Re: Installing TeXworks in Ubuntu
Actually, rather than building from source, I highly recommend adding the TeXworks PPA to your software soruces so that you can get automatic updates.
Instructions are here:
https://launchpad.net/~texworks/+archive/ppa
Click the link that says "Read about installing" and scroll down to the instructions for Pre-karmic versions of Ubuntu.

Re: Installing TeXworks in Ubuntu
Awesome. I will take a look at the PPA website.
When actually they will put TeXworks in the official repository, wondering.

Installing TeXworks in Ubuntu
TeXworks is a part of TeX Live 2009, and there's already a TL2009 package for Debian, but it's still listed as "unstable" or "experimental". Hopefully it'll pass to stable soon, and no doubt it'll get picked up by Ubuntu soon thereafter.mnajem wrote: When actually they will put TeXworks in the official repository, wondering.
Re: Installing TeXworks in Ubuntu
Does TexWorks has autocompletion as Kile does?
I'm used to Kile, but seems TexWorks is much lighter in term of loading.
As of now I'm only into either vim/bash commands or Kile.
