General ⇒ How to import non-texniccenter project into texniccenter

Hi,

I didn't find a way to import files into an texniccenter project. My usecase is that I currently have a tex project with severeal files and I would like to use them within texniccenter, including chapter/resource outline in texnic navigator and so on. Any ideas how I can achieve this?

If you intend to import a project file from another editor I guess that is not possible. But you can start TeXnicCenter (TXC), load the master document and go to the »Project« menu as seen in the attachment. To add other files to the project, just open them, then go to the »File« menu and select »Save Project«. If you now close TXC and restart, it should reload all active files. If you close the project before closing TXC, all files will be reloaded when opening the project next time.
