Beamer PDF- How to make/verify portability
My beamer-generated PDF files are not portable. They show fine on my machines but fail on other's machines.
I've had the embarassment of sending out Beamer-PDF to others only to find out that many lines are empty.
Although I am embedding Type-1 fonts and can verify that I have no Type-3 fonts I am perplexed about the empty lines on other's computers. These computers indicate a font problem however my computers do not show the problem.
I hope to be giving a major presentation in a month from now and desire to both use Beamer and to have 100% confidence that my presentation will be portable to the conference's computer and to those of a distribution list.
* Is there a 100% verification method to validate PDF portability?
* Is there a means to guarantee that beamer-generated PDF presentations will be portable?
Thank you in advance! I appreciate any help and direction you can give.
Bob
