Question about the MikTeX Package Browser

Post by avp3000 »

Hallo,

I have discovered, that I don't see all the packages that I have in the list when I open the packages browser although I have installed them and they work (because I'm using them in my documents). For example, when I write "babel" or "amsmath" as keywords, then it doesn't find them. Do you have any clue as to why it behaves like this?

You better use the keywords input field for searching packages by giving related terms contained in the descriptions embedded in their properties and not their names. For finding a special package use the search by name.
