master document and subdocuments in SWP

Post by superodge »

Hello,

I'm writing an article and I tried to create a master document and subdocuments on scientific workplace but I can't compile my master document. I tried to compile the same document with teXnicCenter and it works. But since there are some compatibility issues between both softwares, I need to use SWP.
Have I missed something here?

Thank you

Hi there,

How do you include your subdocuments in your master's? This is probably the solution to your question.

Cheers

Greetings,

I have used master and sub documents in SWP with no difficulty. If you can post a minimal working example (one short master document and one short subdocument) of what you are trying to do I will be happy to take a look at it.

Hello,

Thank you for your tips guys,

In fact, I finally made it work. I realized that all subdocuments must be opened while compiling the master document.
