odd behaviour with sidewaystable

Post by steve.koch »

Hello,

I am using sideways table, and seem to have something wrong. If I compile the table in its own document, it comes out perfectly. However, if I compile the table within a larger document, I find that the top portion (roughly 1/3) is cut-off. Yes, it is sideways, although the rotation has also switched from counter clockwise (when compiled in own document) to clockwise (when compiled with the rest of the document).

The problem appears to be driven by the use of "amsart". In the one that compiles correctly, I have "article", whereas the one that does not uses "amsart" as the class... I can use "article', but that limits me in a way that I do not like...

Has anyone encountered this before? If so, has anyone found a simple workaround?
