Hello
I am sing Kile as my .tex editor and compiler. I have got some problems with fonts, as when I am trying to compile some TEX documents I get the following error message:
ptmr7t at 10.0pt not loadable: Metric (TFM) file not found. \normalfont
Would anybody explain how to solve this problem as I am in urgent need to finish some papers.

welcome to the board!
ptmr7t belongs to the mathptmx or times package, you have to install that.
With which operating system do you work? Perhaps I could give you os specific advice.
