Hallo, when installing Basic-Miktex-24.1-x64.exe on my Windows10 Laptop NO executable file (e.g. lualatex.exe or any other *.exe file) in the default subdirectory (for me User\kmagn\Appdata\local\programs\bin\MIKTEX\) could be found.
I have also tried to install older versions of MIKTEXx64 . However I always got the same negative results (NO relevant *.exefile could be found in the default subdirectory) from every installations. Does Anyone know how to solve the problem? Where is the relevant *.exe file installed or are there no executables in the downloaded/installed package?
Could I use TEXLive instead?
