Title header chapter

Postby mimi04 » Tue Sep 03, 2019 11:39 pm

How can I remove the header title of the last page of the chapter?
Here in the code the part of newpage, I want to head the name of the chapter and keep the number of the page in the header:
-----------------------------------------------------------------
\chapter{Some }
blablablablablablablabla
blablablablablablablablabla
blablablablablablablablabla
.....
\newpage
\strut
\addcontentsline{toc}{chapter}{\textbf{{Conclusion}}}
\begin{center}\LARGE\textbf{{Conclusion}}\end{center}
------------------------------------------------------------------------

You could use \markboth{}{} or even \markboth{Conclusion}{Conclusion} at that place in the document.

BTW: If the »Conclusion« title should be a chapter title without number, you could use \chapter*{Conclusion} instead of \begin{center}\LARGE\textbf{{Conclusion}}\end{center} and also remove the [t]\newpage[/t]. Some classes like scrbook or scrreprt also provide commands to make a chapter title without number but with entry to the table of contents and a running head (and commands to center the chapter title).
