Problems with LaTeX-Template

Postby pi_squared » Mon Oct 03, 2016 11:12 am

Hello everybody!

I have issues with this LaTeX template. My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium, I work with MikTeX 2.9 and with TeXMaker.

I searched this forum for about an hour now, but I found no answer which was suitable for my, so here is my question:

I downloaded the template and tried to run it once, just to check if everything works fine. Unfortunatelly it did not. I did not change any line of code of the template but I get this error message:

  1. ! Undefined control sequence.
  2. <argument> ...docsvlist \expandafter {\bbl@loaded
  3. }\ifboolexpr { not test {\...
  4. l.87 \begin{document}
  5.
  6. ?
  7. ! Emergency stop.
  8. <argument> ...docsvlist \expandafter {\bbl@loaded
  9. }\ifboolexpr { not test {\...
  10. l.87 \begin{document}
  11.
  12. End of file on the terminal!

I suppose that it has something to do with my MikTeX installation, maybe I need a special package which I do not have now, but I was not able to fix the problem.

I will upload the log file for you, hopefully you will be able to help me. And if there is anything I accidentally did not privide you, please let me know.

Thanks in advance for your time and effort!

Reason: added code markup

Maybe this was Murphys Law, I don'd know.

The answer I found now was to update MiKTeX. Now it works very fine for me.

Thank you anyway guys!

Welcome to the forum!

Nice to see that it's solved. It seemed to be a version of 2014, according to the log file, so the update was a very good idea.
