"No such file or directory" clicking file in LaTeX errors

Postby FloG » Mon Jul 23, 2012 3:44 pm

Hello there,

i am using TeXworks 0.4.3 with Miktex 2.9.
When i run "pdfLatex+MakeIndex+BibTex", i get some warnings like Overfull \hbox in the output window "LaTeX errors". So i want to click the mentioned file on the left to the warning message. But then a popup says "Can not read the file "C:\Users\Me\Documents/Chapters/file.tex": No such file or directory". I just wanted to open the file and line where the warning occured.

I see that it is using "\" for the path name and "/" where i include files from subdirectorys. The main file is in the folder Documents and then i write \include{Chapters/file} for file.tex in the subfolder Chapters.

Anyone got the same issue? Anyone knows how to fix it?
