Empty Bibliographies

Postby franz » Wed Dec 11, 2013 12:35 pm

Hi everybody,

I'm starting using multibib package and I have a big problem. It does not give any error but the bibliography is empty.

Here is an example.
  1. \documentclass{article}
  2. \usepackage{multibib}
  3.
  4. \newcites{J}{Journal Papers}
  5. \newcites{C}{Conference Papers}
  6.
  7. \begin{document}
  8.
  9. \section{Publications}
  10. \nociteJ{exart1}
  11. \bibliographystyleJ{plain}
  12. \bibliographyJ{mycit}
  13.
  14. \nociteC{exconf1}
  15. \bibliographystyleC{plain}
  16. \bibliographyC{mycit}
  17.
  18. \end{document}

And the .bib file:
  1. @article{exart1,
  2. author = {Surname, Name},
  3. title = {Example 1},
  4. journal = {exjournal},
  5. year = {2013},
  6. volume = {1},
  7. pages = {1--12}
  8. }
  9.
  10. @conference{exconf1,
  11. author = {Surname, Name},
  12. title = {Example 2 conf},
  13. booktitle = {Proc. Conf ex},
  14. year = {2010}
  15. }

The output is a PDF with only the section title.

Note: the following code works perfectly
  1. \nocite{exart1,exconf1}
  2. \bibliographystyle{plain}
  3. \bibliography{mycit}

Did you run BibTeX on the aux file(s)?
