Harvard style - Citation undefined

Postby ricardoresc » Tue Mar 05, 2013 7:47 pm

Hi,

I'm trying to change my bibliography from manual to BiBTeX using harvard style.

Code:
  1. \documentclass[11pt,a4paper]{article}
  2. \usepackage{harvard}
  3.
  4. \begin{document}
  5. Text omitted
  6. \cite{foxall_behaviourist_1993}.
  7.
  8. \bibliographystyle{harvard}
  9. \bibliography{BibTeXRC}
  10. \end{document}

I'm getting a message, when I compile:
  1. LaTeX Warning: Citation 'foxall_behaviourist_1993' on page 11 undefined on input line 423.

Any idea of what am I doing wrong?

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

welcome to the board!

Did you run BibTeX on the file? The routinge would be compiling with LaTeX, then running BibTeX (at the command prompt or via an editor feature, some editors can do it automatically), and running LaTeX again (twice for finally correct references).
