crop package problem

Post by asgrrr »

I'm trying to insert crop marks. I use this:

\usepackage[
width=21,6cm, height=21,6cm,
cam, axes, frame, cross,
pdftex,
center
]{crop}

Seems the package fails to load, this is the result:

get host by name failed in tcp_connect

My version, see image (windows 7 platform):

What's the problem and how can it be solved?

Thanks!

crop package problem

Welcome to the forum!

Just use the MiKTeX package manager, available in the Windows start menu, to install the crop package manually.

crop package problem

Thanks for taking the time.

I tried using the package manager and it failed:

get host by name failed in tcp_connect()

I tried installing several other packages the same way and they all failed in the same way.

What is causing this?
