Postby Izem » Tue Oct 13, 2020 11:54 am

Hello everyone,

I have imported a transparent picture from google image to latex but it does not really look transparent (see attachement), can someone help please ?

Thank you in advance,

Your question is somehow unclear. However the image is not transparent. Seems the alpha channel has been converted to the chess board background. Such a background is sometimes uses to illustrate the existence of transparency in picture previews. So you should never copy the picture preview but the original picture file. How to do so, depends on the image source.

BTW: This would be more a question of "how to copy images from the web" than a LaTeX question.

If my speculation is wrong, please give us (a link to) the original image and a Infominimal working example that shows, what you've done.
