How to obtain that hierarchical 3D model seen in the Fig. 11 of the media9 package manual?
I know that this question is not directly related to LaTex media9 package, but ...
... it's been very hard to find a solution to that.
It's not a problem to produce a 3D interative model from a u3d file, using Meshlab and LateX.
However, the pdf file produced has not a model tree, that is, there is a single layer, without hierarchy.
(It's Meshlab fault, since that it only works with a single layer or a flattened one.)
On the other side, the 3D model seen in the Fig. 11 of the media9 package manual has a model tree.
What would be the road map to produce it?
NOTE: I've even tried to find the author of the Fig. 11 u3d file, Jean-Luc Chesnot, with no success.
