Table with "stair-case shaped" framing

Post by Celine »

Hi,
I would like to produce a table/an array with a "stair-case shaped" framing (better shown in the attachement below). The boxes get filled in with numbers, and it's not important if the numbers at the edges are outside of the frame like shown in the picture or also encased in the framing. But I'm not super familiar with all the different table and array environments. Does anyone have any tips on how to do this?
I am using LaTeX in Overleaf with the pdfLaTeX compiler.
Thanks in advance!
Celine
