### disable column in a table

\begin{table}[h]\begin{center}\caption{A} \begin{tabular}{|c|c|c|c|c|c|}    ....    ....    ....    \hline  \end{tabular}\end{center}\end{table}

Is it possible to disable a column in a table ? I do not want to remove, If I need it I want to use it again..Thanks in advance

Yes, that's possible. This is by Martin Scharrer, showing how the collcell package written by him can be used:

\usepackage{collcell}\makeatletter\newcolumntype{H}{>{\collectcell\@gobble}c<{\endcollectcell}@{}}\makeatother

Then just change c into H, in tabular.
