Problem with rotating an image.

Postby lukaszskowron96 » Sun Nov 18, 2018 11:19 pm

Hi, so I rotated my image using this code:

  1. \begin{figure}[H]
  2. \begin{adjustbox}{addcode={\begin{minipage}{\width}}{\caption{Rough interface}\end{minipage}},rotate=90,center}
  3. \includegraphics[scale=0.65]{RoughH}
  4. \end{adjustbox}
  5. \end{figure}

I want my figure to be an a separete page, making full use of the space available. However, the figure seems to start a third along the page and is therefore cut (see the image below). How can I center the image on center of the page?

Please give the complete code so that compiling will be easier. The image should also be included/attached.

You can use the lscape package to get the desired result.

  1. \documentclass{article}
  2. %
  3. \usepackage{graphicx}
  4. \usepackage{lscape}
  5.
  6. \begin{document}
  7.
  8. \begin{landscape}
  9. \begin{figure}[h]
  10. \centering
  11. \includegraphics[scale=1.5]{example-image-b}
  12.
  13. \caption{Rotated image.}
  14. \end{figure}
  15. \end{landscape}
  16.
  17. \end{document}
