LaTex Error: Unknown graphics extension: .eps.

Postby pincadilly » Wed May 01, 2013 2:17 pm

Hi there,
I'm having problems with images: for any extension they might end with, when I click to show the document the following error message appears:

"LaTex Error: Unknown graphics extension: .eps."

Even if the image is not an .eps file.
What shall I do?
Thank you in advance.

Hi pincadilly,

Welcome to the LaTeX community!

Could you post a small example starting with \documentclass and ending with \end{document} (a Infominimal working example) with which we can reproduce the issue. It is much easier to help when we see compilable code.

Regards
Clemens

Hi,

I guess you solved it in the meantime, right? I just noticed this old topic since I saw your new topic. :-)
Just ensure that you compile with pdfLaTeX, when it's not EPS format, not LaTeX in DVI mode.
