Simple question about TOC pts

Postby jgaspard » Tue Feb 03, 2009 9:21 pm

Hi all!

Hope you can resolve this little thing.

I'd like the "Résumé" and "Introduction" words to be 10pt instead of 12pt.

How could I do that?

Best.

Here is my file.tex:

  1. \documentclass[10pt,a4paper]{report}
  2. \usepackage[francais]{babel}
  3. \usepackage[applemac]{inputenc}
  4. \usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
  5. \usepackage{cite}
  6. \usepackage{graphicx}
  7. \usepackage{lscape}
  8. \usepackage{fullpage}
  9. \pagestyle{empty}
  10. \usepackage{geometry}
  11. \usepackage{fancyhdr}
  12. \usepackage{url}
  13. \geometry{hmargin=2.5cm, vmargin=2.5cm}
  14. \setcounter{secnumdepth}{3}
  15. \setcounter{tocdepth}{4}
  16. \renewcommand{\baselinestretch}{1.1}
  17. \makeatletter
  18. \renewcommand\@biblabel[1]{#1.}
  19. \makeatother
  20.
  21. \begin{document}
  22.
  23. \newpage
  24.
  25. \pagestyle{plain}
  26.
  27. \tableofcontents
  28.
  29. \chapter*{Résumé}
  30. \addcontentsline{toc}{part}{Résumé}
  31.
  32. \chapter*{Introduction}
  33. \addcontentsline{toc}{part}{Introduction}
  34.
  35.
  36. \chapter{Aperçu théorique}
  37. \end{document}

One possibility is to set the size explicitly:
  1. \chapter*{\normalsize Résumé}

Another one is to use a document class that allows greater flexibility, like one of the KOMA-Script classes:
  1. \documentclass[fontsize=10pt,paper=a4,version=last,pagesize=auto]{scrreprt}
  2. ...
  3. \begingroup
  4. \addtokomafont{chapter}{\normalsize}
  5. \addchap{Résumé}
  6. \addchap{Introduction}
  7. \endgroup
