Adjust title indentationfor long title

Postby diagram » Tue Jan 12, 2021 9:39 pm

I want to adjust title margins for two lines length titles. For example, is like below. How can I adjust? Thank you for your understanding I don't know how can I explain my problem.

Code: [Select all] [Expand/Collapse] [Download] ({untitled.tex})
  1. \titleformat{\chapter}{\normalfont\normalsize\bfseries}{\thechapter.}{1em}{}
  2. \titleformat{\section}{\normalfont\normalsize\bfseries}{\thesection.}{1em}{}
  3. \titleformat{\subsection}{\normalfont\normalsize\bfseries}{\thesubsection.}{1em}{}
  4. \titleformat{\subsubsection}{\normalfont\normalsize\bfseries}{\thesubsubsection.}{1em}{}
  5. \titlelabel{\thetitle.\quad}

I'm using titlesec,

Code: [Select all] [Expand/Collapse] [Download] ({untitled.tex})
  1. \subsection{Outage probability for cooperative transmission using DF method under co-channel interference effect}

Without a Infominimal working example we don't know which document class you are using. There are document classes that have their own tools for such settings and whose cooperation with titlesec is therefore not recommended as it can lead to problems. So if you work with a standard class, you can find a suitable shape in section 3.1. "Format" of the package documentation.
