\usepackage{tikz}
\begin{document}
\begin{tikzpicture}
\usetikzlibrary[graphs]
\graph [no placement,nodes={draw,rectangle},edges={>=latex}] {
A [at={(2,2)},circle] -- {
B [at={(0,4)}],
C [at={(4,4)}],
D [at={(4,0)}],
E [at={(0,0)}],
}
};
\end{tikzpicture}
\end{document}

Another example:

  1. \documentclass[border = 10pt]{standalone}
  2. \usepackage{tikz}
  3. \usetikzlibrary{positioning}
  4. \begin{document}
  5. \begin{tikzpicture}[
  6. basenode/.style = { color = white, fill = blue!70, draw, font = \sffamily},
  7. rootnode/.style = { basenode, circle, minimum width = 2cm},
  8. childnode/.style = { basenode, rectangle, rounded corners,
  9. minimum width = 10em, align = center},
  10. ]
  11. \draw
  12. node [rootnode] (root) {root}
  13. node [childnode, above left = 1cm of root] (A) {TEXT}
  14. node [childnode, below left = 1cm of root] (B) {TEXT}
  15. node [childnode, above right = 1cm of root] (C) {TEXT}
  16. node [childnode, below right = 1cm of root] (D) {TEXT}
  17. (root) -- (A)
  18. (root) -- (B)
  19. (root) -- (C)
  20. (root) -- (D)
  21. ;
  22. \end{tikzpicture}
  23. \end{document}
