Hi! My name is Sylvain, I am a Professor of Computer Science at Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (Canada). I have been using LaTeX for almost 15 years now, almost on a daily basis since I became a Professor.

I like writing tools to improve the workflow of writing scientific papers with LaTeX. In the recent past, I have created:

- PaperShell, a template environment with build scripts and a few other features
- TeXtidote, a program that interacts with the Language Tool library to perform spelling and grammar checking directly from LaTeX source files

I'll be glad if I can answer questions!

Hi Sylvain,

welcome to the forum!

I took a quick look at your tool. The in-source spellchecker looks very useful. My first thought was, that it may be an online tool, since it showed the result in the browser, then I saw it was just for displaying the local HTML report. The PaperShell remindet me of something that was intended for LaTeX3 (whenever it may come) - abstraction of text, settings, and implementation in several layers.
