Hi,
My name is Robin Hawker and I have just (14th September 2024) registered with the community.
I have a small publishing company (Quaystone Books) and use Latex to typeset books ranging from thrillers to books on UK employment law. The law books are designed using Tschichold’s Golden Canon (slightly amended to widen the gutter). I think this page design is ideal for non fiction when paired with the Computer Modern font, but not everyone would agree.
I have joined in the hope of learning much more about Latex and book design generally.

Hi Robin,
welcome to the forum!
Regarding book design with LaTeX, I like these sources:
With Computer modern, I just ensure that sectioning titles are not with serif but typeset in sans-serif not to look so heavy and 1900s LaTeX era.
