Problems with Japanese font (Miragino Mincho Pro W3)

Post by clemens »

Hello,

I hope this doesn't get counted as a double posting.
In any case, I made a file with Lyx some years ago, to be compiled with XeTex since I had to use many diacritics and many Japanese characters and now that I have changed both OS (before it was Ubuntu, now it is Windows) and Lyx version (1.6 to 2.0), the Japanese characters don't appear and instead I have the standard empty rectangles.
I suspect it has to do with how the font (Hiragino Micho Pro W3 .otf) is referred to in the two systems (I remember having read something similar ages ago). In the file (made in Ubuntu with Lyx 1.6) it is referred to as HiraMinPro-W3, while I believe in Windows it might have to be called differently, but I don't know how.

Thank you for any help or suggestion.
Cheers
