Document Classes ⇒ using minitoc in masters-doctoral-thesis

Hi everyone,

I am using the masters-doctoral-thesis template found here https://www.latextemplates.com/template ... ral-thesis. I am trying to use minitoc package to insert a toc at the beginning of each chapter.
1) Add \usepackage{minitoc} to the preamble
2) Add \dominitoc after \begin{document}
4) Add \minitoc to the beginning of Chapter1.tex

However, it is not working. No toc is displayed at the beginning of the chapter. Any clue how to fix it?
