it's been 10 years since the LaTeX Community forum came online! It was founded by Sven Wiegand, he posted the announcement on January 14, 2007.
The board statistics on the bottom of the forum index page says, we got: Total posts 87310 • Total topics 22249 • Total members 14947
The forum developed over time, we can follow the changes in the announcement forum. The last big change was moving to a smartphone friendly responsive theme and adding navigation features. It's still the good old phpBB discussion forum software. We could migrate to a question and answer software, such we use on TeXwelt.de and TeXnique.fr - if there's enough user and moderator support for that. I just did not dare yet to compete with the $70 million q&a site, that now dominates TeX talk since it added TeX as topic. Well, we will still be here in another 10 years, when their investors got their money back or not.
