Multiple Builds at Once

Post by Chrpra »

I'm currently using following combination:
  • The latest TeXnicCenter (2.0 stable 32bit)
  • MiKTeX 2.9 (32 bit, all packages updated)
  • PDFLaTeX
  • Biber (instead of BibTeX)
My problem is, that if a new reference is added using Biber, the document needs to be compiled three times before the citations are properly placed.

I tried to use TeXify (instead of PDFLaTeX) but that doesn't work either.

It would be nice if there would be any possibility to compile the whole document with one click!

I also created a question: http://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/ ... ds-at-once

Hi, welcome to the LaTeX community!

That's true: you need to compile once so that the aux file contains the information about the new reference. Then you need to run biber to get the citation in the bbl file. Now you need a LaTeX run to get the citation in the document and at last another LaTeX run to get crossreferences right. The last LaTeX run is not always necessary but recommended.

It is possible to automate this process. Have a look at
