footcite reference indentation

Postby samtel » Tue Mar 05, 2019 9:59 pm

Dear Friends,
I use the following code for foot citation
  1. \RequirePackage[backend=bibtex,citestyle=authoryear,style=alphabetic,url=false]{biblatex}
  2.
  3. \newcommand\tab[1][1cm]{\hspace*{#1}}
  4. \DeclareCiteCommand{\footpartcite}[\mkbibfootnote]
  5. {\usebibmacro{prenote}}
  6. {\usebibmacro{citeindex}%
  7. \mkbibbrackets{\usebibmacro{cite}}%
  8. \setunit{\tab[1cm]}
  9. % \setunit{\addspace}
  10. \printnames{labelname}%
  11. \setunit{\labelnamepunct}
  12. \printfield[citetitle]{title}%
  13. \newunit
  14. \printfield{year}}
  15. {\addsemicolon\space}
  16. {\usebibmacro{postnote}}

and the output of this code is as shown in the picture,
so could you please help to modify the code to align the text of references vertically also to align the long references that expand along multiple lines
best regards

Does the footbib package do what you are looking to do?
