Compiling error

Postby surjective » Sun Nov 10, 2024 12:54 am

Hello,

I am trying to compile a file but I keep getting the following message in the attachment.
I am not an expert user of latex so I don't know how to fix this.

I have attached the message and the file.

I hope someone can help me. Thanks.

Compiling error

The attached example doesn't produce an error message for me.

Avoid fiddling around with the indentation and spacing of your paragraphs using the \noindent and \newline commands and use the parskip package instead.

The siunitx package is ideal for setting physical quantities, while the enumitem package can help you adjust your lists.

Compiling error

That screenshot is confusing. It looks like a macOS error when I see the top left symbols (red, yellow, green) and that OK button, but it refers to a Windows path. macOS doesn't have a C:\ path.

Anyway, it's a problem of your LaTeX installation and not related to the code. Ensure that you have a LaTeX distribution installed, like a full MacTeX. If the error persists, tell us more details, like operating system version, editor, and more.
