Adding page numbers and changing TOC

Postby Xatax » Fri Sep 16, 2016 11:07 am

I am very new to latex, But i thought I'd write my report in Lyx. So far so good. I am really loving it, it helped me in Latex codes to write in this forum or on other subforums. I have been learning latex.

I am using this template:

I want to add the roman page numbers for all the Declaration, Acknowledgment. It's already there, but it doesn't show. Preferably bottom of the page.
I want to add Declaration,Acknowledgment etc in the TOC, currently it statrs from Contents
Curently header of the page is it's subsection of respective page, i want to change it to the chapter name
anyway to change the formatting of TOC; like different style? I think tbhis looks ugly

I have added a picture as an attachment, for your reference.

Like i said i am pretty new to Latex, so when you tell me some modification, please tell where do i do it too.

The smart way: Calm down and take a deep breath, read posts and provided links attentively, try to understand and ask if necessary.
