Customized Spacing in the Bibliography

Postby et_gaudette » Wed Dec 11, 2013 2:27 am

I need to customize my bibliography so that each entry is single spaced and the spacing between entries is 1.5.

I am already customizing the bibliography with the following code in my preamble that I found on this forum:

  1. \makeatletter
  2. \renewcommand\@biblabel[1]{}
  3. \renewenvironment{thebibliography}[1]
  4. {\section*{BIBLIOGRAPHY}%
  5. \@mkboth{\MakeUppercase\refname}{\MakeUppercase\refname}%
  6. \list{\@biblabel{\@arabic\c@enumiv}}%
  7. {\settowidth\labelwidth{\@biblabel{#1}}%
  8. \leftmargin\labelwidth
  9. \advance\leftmargin\labelsep
  10. \itemindent-\labelsep
  11. \@openbib@code
  12. \usecounter{enumiv}%
  13. \let\p@enumiv\@empty
  14. \renewcommand\theenumiv{\@arabic\c@enumiv}}%
  15. \sloppy
  16. \clubpenalty4000
  17. \@clubpenalty \clubpenalty
  18. \widowpenalty4000%
  19. \sfcode`\.\@m}
  20. {\def\@noitemerr
  21. {\@latex@warning{Empty `thebibliography' environment}}%
  22. \endlist}
  23. \makeatother

My guess is that I can specify the spacing by adding to this preamble, any suggestion of how to do this?

Thanks!

Reason: Longer passages of source code are tagged as code block, not as in-line code.
