Re: Structure of a document - how to keep it expanded

That is not possible.
You could of course modify the source, but keeping the expanded items expand will be very hard (the only easy way would be to change it to always expand all).

Re: Texmaker Patches

Uihh, you digged up an really old and deprecated thread. Perhaps it shouldn't be sticky anymore (hi mod :) ). I doubt Pascal will ever add them to texmaker, since he didn't do it in two years. Btw, the links above don't work for over an year, but I uploaded a copy months ago under: http://texmakerx....

Re: Search & replace query with two arguments? Topic is solved

Why not
  1. \renewcommand{\suli}[2]{\sum_{#1}^{#2}}
? That's the safest way.

Otherwise you can search for
  1. \\suli\{([^}]+)\}\{([^}]+)\}

And replace it with
  1. \sum_{\2}^{\1}

(if there are no nested latex commands in #1/2)

Re: Stop search (& replace) at current cursor position

TeXMakerX always start at the top of a .tex-file to work the search (& replace) queue. (Right?) But then it jumps back to the cursor, No, usually in the default it will start from the current cursor position and not jump back (except if your search reach the document end, than it will start fro...

Re: Stop search (& replace) at current cursor position

I think you found a bug and I will change that in the next version. (or does anyone here has an example, where the current behavior is more useful?)

Meanwhile, you could only disable the cursor checkbox, then replace all will replace every line only once.

This is not possible.
Why do you want to do that?

And 1.9.9a (the strange version number is used, because there is no new Texmaker, and we still keep the version numbers synchronized) with these changes: ⋅ Intelligent code completion which can be used to change a command or move the selected text in a command (think of an additional clipb...

Re: Generates .pdf but does not open automatically

You could try to start the command "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 9.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe" %.pdf manually (with Win+R). If the Acrobat Reader doesn't start, you have a wrong path for it and you should search the correct executable. Or you can try it with TexMakerX and "?am.pdf" i...
