### A question about filling a region with colour and pattern Topic is solved

Actually I needed to filldraw a region with a somewhat simpler boundary. Se the new attached PDF file.
The region to be shaded is between the two parabola segments in red and the red line.

### A question about filling a region with colour and pattern Topic is solved

As seen in the attached pdf file (and Latex input file), I have a region defined by 2 parabola segments and a line (region highlighted in red). I would like to fill this region using a shape/pattern construct (see Latex file), but I have problem with defining my region's boundary to achieve this. An...

### intersections Topic is solved

Thanks!
Very nice indeed. This is PGF version 3?
I see that I need to install the latest PGF version. Mine is too old for the stuff I like to do.

### intersections Topic is solved

In PGF it is easy to let PGF find the intersection between two defined lines or intersections between one circle and a line etc.
Are there any construct in PGF, or does it exist any macro, which gives intersection between an ellipses and a line say?

### Re: drawing the incircle, problems with units Topic is solved

Thanks for help!
I managed finally to get a code working properly without the explicit need to convert units.
My next project will be to upgrade my versions of PGF and TikZ. Great programs!
